A- Artists are allowed to attend the event and we happily encourage it, along with inviting family and friends. However, we ask you, the artist, to pay a small $10 fee to cover your food. You are allowed to bring along one other person for the same rate of $10. Anyone else interested will have to pay full ticket price.
A- There are loose themes, such as freedom, hope, forgiveness, and healing. However if you paint/photograph something like landscapes or sculpt flowers, these aren’t discouraged. We want a vast range of styles and creativity. So bring your originality, but maybe keep the ideas of these loose themes in the back of your mind.
A- Anything made from oil paints, watercolors, acrylic paints, graphite pencils, charcoal, color pencils, and pastels. Sculptures, photography, jewelry, and pottery are all welcome, We just want to see what exciting pieces you like to make!
A- Yes you can! We will evaluate each piece and let you know which ones will hang in the gallery.
A- This is up to you! Pricing art can be tricky, so we would encourage you to consult local galleries if you are unsure or ask fellow online or in person art groups. But at the end of the day, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
A- Light nudity or bodily silhouettes is totally fine. However, we will not display any sexualization of the human body, as it will be highly inappropriate for this event. We ask that you are mindful of the cause.
